DESC Consultancy Services identifies and establishes the optimization potential of plants' production.
To achieve this, DESC performs benefit studies and process simulation studies. Also implementation services can be provided in the areas of advanced process control (APC), real-time optimization (RTO), scheduling and planning.

Benefit Studies:
These studies typically involve a few days at site to interview operations, process and instrumentation on how the plant is operated today. After collecting plant data a (statistical) analysis is performed on these data and recommendations to improve plant operations and potential benefits are identified and quantified. These studies normally serve as a basis for new investments.

 

Technical consultancy:
DESC has process experience in multiple chemicals processes and this knowledge is used to study a process in more detail thru literature search, process simulation and verifying operational data. With this service additional process insight is given which will improve our customers understanding of the process.

Implementation Services:
DESC can also assist in the implementation of APC and RTO projects in the various stages of a project: functional design, detailed design, commissioning and audits.
